Anthony Terrell Smith, better known by his stage name Tone Lōc, is an American rapper, actor and producer who gained fame in the late 1980s with his raspy voice and unique style.
Born on March 3, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, Tone Lōc rose to prominence with hit singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina" from his debut album "Lōc-ed After Dark" in 1989. The album's success was unprecedented, becoming the second rap album to top the Billboard 200 charts.
